Make your Pearl Beach stay as quiet or as adventurous as you like. Spend a morning exploring the village, book a creative workshop, head out for a bushwalk or take a ferry across Broken Bay. Here are ideas for couples, families and friends, including a few for rainy days.

In Pearl Beach

The beach and rock pool
Enjoy a beach walk, sunrise or time by the water. Pearl Beach is unpatrolled, and calm-looking water does not guarantee safe swimming. For ocean swimming, choose a patrolled beach and swim between the red and yellow flags. At the rock pool, check conditions and local signs, watch for slippery surfaces and waves, and supervise children closely. Local beach information.

Pearl Beach Arboretum
Explore the village’s bushland reserve and look out for birdlife. A relaxed option for nature lovers; choose a route to suit your group and allow time to linger. Arboretum information.

Tennis and pickleball
The Pearl Beach Tennis and Recreation Club offers casual court hire, with online bookings for tennis and pickleball. Check availability, equipment arrangements and current fees before your visit. Court bookings.

Yoga at the community hall
Hayley Saunders runs yoga and meditation sessions at Pearl Beach Memorial Hall. Check the current timetable and what to bring before joining a class. Yoga timetable.

Coffee, village wandering and quiet evenings
Stop at The Cove at Pearl Beach, take a gentle wander through the village or settle in at the house with a book. On a clear night, step outside to enjoy the stars. Watch wildlife from a distance and avoid feeding native animals. Our food guide.

Walks and lookouts

Warrah Lookout
For a shorter outing, drive to Warrah Trig picnic area and follow the official route to the lookout. NSW National Parks advises about 15 minutes each way from the picnic area. Allow extra time for the views and check access and alerts first. Warrah Lookout visitor information.

Mount Ettalong Lookout
A nearby option for coastal views. Check the route and access before setting out, wear suitable shoes and keep to the marked paths and lookout areas. View location.

Pearl Beach to Patonga walking track
A more demanding bushwalk through Brisbane Water National Park. NSW National Parks lists the track as 3 km one way, taking 1½–2 hours, with a Grade 5 rating for experienced bushwalkers. Expect steep sections and limited signage. Carry water, wear suitable footwear and arrange your return transport before leaving; allow additional time if walking back. Official track information.

Before a bushwalk, check National Parks alerts and closures, the weather and your group’s abilities. Follow marked routes and local signs.
